Lantern StreetChurch Sundays 10:30 AM

Come as you are.

A neighborhood church in Champaign, and we are really glad you are here. Coffee is in the Commons, the kids rooms are down the hall, and nobody is keeping score.

Sunday Gathering

10:30every Sunday morning

Sunday at 10:30 AM

  • Coffee in the Commons from 10:00
  • 418 Linden St, Champaign. Park behind the building, off Ash St.
  • Kids rooms are down the hall, left side

What we believe, in four lines.

  1. God made everything, and loves the people in it. Every one.
  2. Jesus lived, died and rose again, and he makes broken things new.
  3. Grace is a gift. Nobody earns a seat here, and nobody loses one.
  4. The Bible is our guide, and it keeps saying to love our neighbors. So we rake their leaves.

No fine print. Want the long version? Pastor Ruth answers anything over lunch at the Newcomers Lunch.

What people ask us first

Will anyone make me stand up or say my name?
No. Nobody gets singled out. If you want to say hi, the welcome table is by the front doors.
Do I have to give?
No. Gifts go in the box by the doors. The plate that comes down your row is for connect cards, and you can pass it right along.
What if my kid melts down?
It happens every week. The back rows are close to the doors, and the nursery is open the whole service.
